- Project Engineer developing and executing major investment projects at Agropur's Beauceville plant. Focused on optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring operational performance with collaborative teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, execution and monitoring of major investment projects
- Develops and optimizes manufacturing processes to improve operational performance or add value
- Handles technical and financial monitoring of entrusted projects
- Prepares technical specifications, plans, and cost estimates
- Manages tenders and issuance of contracts with strategic purchasing department
- Coordinates installation and commissioning of equipment and manages project budget
- Coordinates multidisciplinary teams associated with major projects
- Acts as a technical advisor to other engineering team members or plants
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, industrial or automation
- Member of Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec
- 7-10 years of experience in engineering and carrying out projects
- Expertise in the design and installation of processes in the food and beverage sector is sought
- Expertise in the dairy sector would be an asset
- Proven track record of implementing multidisciplinary capital projects in a multi stakeholder environment
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications and AutoCAD
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
