About the role

  • Development Intern supporting renewable energy project development in Canada. Collaborating on documentation, stakeholder communication, and project tracking in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain an internal tracking file for contractual commitments.
  • Manage the transfer of project commitments to the Asset Optimization team.
  • Support document management related to development projects.
  • Assist with document management during project proposal preparation.
  • Participate in meetings, webinars, conferences, and open houses.
  • Draft communications for project stakeholders (PowerPoint presentations, emails).
  • Provide general support for development activities in Quebec.
  • Maintain and update spatial data; perform quality control to ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage the database of competitor projects.
  • Compile data and invoices received from projects in Quebec.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in French; bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
  • Academic background or experience in geography, geomatics, environmental science, management, administration, law, engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize information from diverse sources.
