About the role

Senior Engineer managing cost systems and solutions for Enbridge's multi-billion-dollar project portfolio while collaborating with various stakeholders. Leading cost estimating tools and project performance analyses.

Responsibilities

Manage and analyze historical project database.
Identify and implement processes to improve database accuracy and quality.
Work with internal stakeholders to develop cost estimating tools and manage their calibration on regular basis.
Act as a senior resource and lead or coordinate various special studies and other initiatives relating to cost, project development, and project performance analysis.
Lead the creation of various reports and deliverables for the senior management.
Proactively identify, coordinate, and implement process improvements in the project development, cost tools and related areas to improve quality and accuracy of capital projects.
Facilitate project definition sessions with a team of domain experts to quantity capital cost contingency.

Engineering degree and Professional Engineering (P Eng) designation with APEGA.
Minimum of six years of proven experience in cost engineering, data management, data analytics, cost estimating, project controls or project management.
Working knowledge of Power BI and basic programming or coding concepts is an asset.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Association of Advancement in Cost Engineering (AACE), and Project Management Institution (PMI) principals would be considered an asset.
