About the role
- Lead Engineer focusing on hybrid-electric propulsion performance at EVIO Aircraft in Montreal. Shape aircraft performance predictions and collaborate with various engineering teams for optimal design.
Responsibilities
- Own the development, modeling, and prediction of aircraft-level and hybrid-electric propulsion system performance
- Lead a growing team and serve as a technical authority across performance engineering
- Collaborate closely with teams to mature the aircraft configuration and optimize mission performance
- Establish predictive methods and simulation frameworks for power management strategies
Requirements
- 10-15+ years in aerospace within an aircraft OEM or equivalent environment
- Direct experience with hybrid electric or electric propulsion systems
- Deep knowledge of flight sciences disciplines
- Advanced degree in aerospace or aeronautical engineering (or equivalent professional experience)
