About the role
- Headless CMS Developer configuring bilingual content structures, editorial tools and APIs. Supporting migration, media integration and editor training for a nonprofit digital platform.
Responsibilities
- Configure and extend the headless CMS with the client’s content and taxonomy leads
- Deliver bilingual content structures, editorial tools and content APIs
- Support media connections and content migration
- Train content editors
- Collaborate with the client’s internal product, business project management, UX/design and English/French content teams
- Lead technical delivery and handover
- Provide specialist involvement as needed
- Produce clear documentation
Requirements
- Production experience with a modern headless CMS and its customization tools
- Experience with structured content, taxonomy, metadata and English/French content relationships
- Experience with editorial permissions, preview, approval workflows and publishing controls
- Experience with content APIs, media integration, validation, automated tests and editor documentation
- 5 to 10 years of experience
- Available to start within a month
- Located in Canada; contractor in Canada or the USA preferred
- Must be available during standard EST business hours
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English
- Fluency in spoken and written French is a huge asset
- Relevant delivery experience, collaborative working and clear documentation
- Nonprofit or education experience is an asset
