About the role

  • Senior Data Scientist at EvenUp analyzing treatment journeys to drive business insights. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build data solutions and insights for product direction.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex datasets into clear insights with strategic recommendations that drive measurable actions and outcomes to inform product direction and business priorities
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define KPIs
  • Work with the evaluation data team to plan short and long-term annotation work and define evaluation schemas
  • Communicate analysis results and outcomes clearly and tailor messaging based on the audience
  • Help build and evolve our analytical foundation, including event instrumentation, metric frameworks, and scalable self-serve analytics tools
  • Mentor other analysts and raise the bar for data storytelling, analytical rigor, and stakeholder influence across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent years of practical work experience
  • 5+ years of experience using SQL or similar big data querying languages
  • 5+ years of experience with a programming language such as Python or R
  • 5+ years of experience with applied statistical techniques, such as inferential methods, causal methods, A/B testing, or statistical modeling techniques
  • Experience using machine learning and statistical analysis for building data-driven product solutions or conducting methodological research
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings from data and models into compelling insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
