About the role
- Software Engineer for EverCommerce's Invoice Simple platform team, focusing on building and supporting scalable solutions. Engaging in collaborative work with product stakeholders and executing innovative software developments.
Responsibilities
- Be a technical reference on a team of engineers focused on building and supporting Invoice Simple’s platform
- Work with engineering and product stakeholders to refine the product roadmap
- Help plan and drive execution of product features, taking an active part in software development activities
- Ensure your team delivers high-quality, scalable software solutions that address both customer and business goals
- Encourage good, scalable design, adopting best engineering practices, and setting the bar for quality
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of professional industry experience delivering scalable software solutions
- 2+ years of experience building smooth, modern apps using React, Typescript, and Tailwind
- Familiarity with Cloud computing services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Deep understanding of the NodeJS ecosystem
- Extensive expertise in database modeling and caching technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and construction
- Experience with large-scale 3rd party integrations
- Familiarity with modern version control and continuous integration solutions (Git, Docker, Github Actions)
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Scrum, Kanban)
