Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of building mechanical systems: heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and other related systems for institutional, commercial, municipal, and various other projects.
- Take part in client meetings to propose solutions tailored to their needs.
- Perform surveys of existing installations.
- Conduct studies, design calculations, and technical modeling.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Carry out site visits and participate in certain stages of construction supervision.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to develop your skills and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Other tasks related to the position.
Requirements
- University degree in mechanical engineering or building engineering.
- Hold the Candidat à la profession d'ingénieur (CPI) designation or be in the process of obtaining professional engineer status (P.Eng.) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Relevant experience in building mechanical engineering (in consulting, internships, or employment) is a strong asset. Recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of standards, codes, and regulations governing building mechanical systems (asset).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit (asset).
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
- Valid driver’s license.
