About the role
- Join EXP as a CPI, specializing in electrical command and protection for the Energy sector in Montreal. Collaborate on large-scale electrical production and transmission projects.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical control projects
- Conduct surveys and field measurements in collaboration with other disciplines
- Contribute to the preparation of plans and specifications, and estimate project quantities and costs
- Participate in electrical technical assessments and expert reviews
- Verify compliance of drawings and technical datasheets
- Monitor the quality of work
- Respond to site correspondence
- Track project schedules and deadlines
- Collaborate with the project manager to control allocated budgets
- Communicate with clients and other professionals (architects, etc.) to ensure proper project coordination
- Other duties related to the position
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
- 0 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an engineering consulting firm
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Experience with electrical control in medium- and high-voltage contexts
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Fluent in French
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel
