About the role

  • Join EXP as a CPI, specializing in electrical command and protection for the Energy sector in Montreal. Collaborate on large-scale electrical production and transmission projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical control projects
  • Conduct surveys and field measurements in collaboration with other disciplines
  • Contribute to the preparation of plans and specifications, and estimate project quantities and costs
  • Participate in electrical technical assessments and expert reviews
  • Verify compliance of drawings and technical datasheets
  • Monitor the quality of work
  • Respond to site correspondence
  • Track project schedules and deadlines
  • Collaborate with the project manager to control allocated budgets
  • Communicate with clients and other professionals (architects, etc.) to ensure proper project coordination
  • Other duties related to the position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an engineering consulting firm
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
  • Experience with electrical control in medium- and high-voltage contexts
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Fluent in French
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel
