About the role

Engineer or Geologist specializing in Environment and Geotechnics at EXP's Drummondville and Victoriaville offices. Collaborating on diverse projects for public and private clients in the Centre-du-Québec area.

Responsibilities

Act as project manager/discipline lead in geotechnical and environmental projects.
Collaborate with professionals working on geotechnical and environmental studies.
Prepare service proposals.
Plan and supervise fieldwork: drilling, sampling, installation of wells/piezometers, in‑situ testing, etc.
Prepare study and expert reports, including supervision of laboratory testing.
Conduct environmental site assessments (Phase I, II and III).
Manage environmental monitoring mandates during remediation works.
Provide technical support to team members.
Perform other duties related to the position.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geological engineering or geology, or other relevant education.
Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) or the OGQ (Ordre des géologues du Québec).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of environmental regulations (RPRT, RVMR, MELCCFP Intervention Guide).
Interest in fieldwork and versatility across assignments.
ASP construction card.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Team player with autonomy and strong initiative.
