Responsibilities
Conduct environmental site assessments and environmental characterizations (Phases I, II & III)
Be partially assigned to municipal projects
Manage monitoring mandates during environmental remediation works
Carry out environmental monitoring
Prepare technical documentation and various reports
Contribute to the preparation of service proposals
Prepare work programs
Assist in the preparation of environmental technical plans and specifications
Plan and coordinate the implementation and execution of field/site works
Provide technical support to other team professionals and environmental technicians
Perform other duties related to the role
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in geology, civil engineering, geological engineering, or other equivalent qualification
Member of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ) or the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Membership in AQVE (an asset)
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards of practice (notably RPRT, RVMR, and the Intervention Guide) issued by Quebec's Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques
Willingness to perform field work as required
Versatile and willing to work on a variety of projects
Hold the Construction Site Health and Safety card (ASP)
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
