About the role

  • Join EXP as an Environmental Engineer or Geologist in Laval or Montreal, working on diverse environmental projects with public and private clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental site assessments and environmental characterizations (Phases I, II & III)
  • Be partially assigned to municipal projects
  • Manage monitoring mandates during environmental remediation works
  • Carry out environmental monitoring
  • Prepare technical documentation and various reports
  • Contribute to the preparation of service proposals
  • Prepare work programs
  • Assist in the preparation of environmental technical plans and specifications
  • Plan and coordinate the implementation and execution of field/site works
  • Provide technical support to other team professionals and environmental technicians
  • Perform other duties related to the role

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, civil engineering, geological engineering, or other equivalent qualification
  • Member of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ) or the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Membership in AQVE (an asset)
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards of practice (notably RPRT, RVMR, and the Intervention Guide) issued by Quebec's Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques
  • Willingness to perform field work as required
  • Versatile and willing to work on a variety of projects
  • Hold the Construction Site Health and Safety card (ASP)
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Team player with a proactive, dynamic attitude
