Responsibilities
Participate in the design and production of structural plans and specifications for buildings (steel, concrete and timber), in accordance with the Building Code, applicable standards and project guidelines.
Attend client meetings to propose solutions tailored to their needs.
Conduct surveys of existing installations.
Perform studies, design calculations and technical modeling.
Prepare technical reports.
Conduct site visits and take part in certain stages of construction supervision.
Collaborate closely with engineers to develop your skills and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Perform any other duties related to the position.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering (building engineering, civil engineering or other equivalent qualification).
Hold the title of Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or be in the process of obtaining licensure with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Relevant experience in building structures (consulting engineering, internship or employment) is a strong asset. Recent graduates and early-career candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
