Responsibilities
Participate in the design and production of structural plans and specifications for buildings (steel, concrete, and wood), in compliance with the Building Code, applicable standards, and project guidelines.
Attend client meetings to propose solutions tailored to their needs.
Conduct surveys of existing structures.
Perform studies, design calculations, and technical modeling.
Prepare technical reports.
Conduct site visits and participate in certain stages of construction supervision.
Collaborate closely with engineers to develop your skills and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Perform any other related duties as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering (building engineering, civil engineering, or other equivalent qualification).
Hold the CPI designation or be in the process of obtaining licensing as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Relevant experience in building structures (in consulting engineering, internships, or employment) is an asset. Recent graduates and early-career candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
