About the role

  • Scrum Master enabling agile delivery and operations for EDC’s enterprise data platforms. Facilitating teams, roadmaps, risks, stakeholders, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Scrum ceremonies and facilitate planning, prioritization, and execution activities
  • Support annual OKRs and quarterly delivery plans aligned with business priorities and team commitments
  • Manage dependencies, remove impediments, facilitate problem-solving, collaboration, and conflict resolution
  • Maintain delivery plans and roadmaps and monitor progress against milestones
  • Coordinate cross-team activities and provide status reporting
  • Prepare and coordinate data and analytics reports
  • Support intake, triage, prioritization, and coordination of data incidents, ServiceNow requests, business intakes, vulnerability management, and operational issues
  • Assist with change management activities, including impact assessment, readiness, communication, and coordination
  • Identify, track, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints
  • Facilitate resolution through collaboration, escalation, and mitigation planning
  • Build relationships with business, technology, vendor, and executive stakeholders
  • Manage expectations and ensure visibility into delivery progress, risks, decisions, and priorities
  • Promote continuous improvement in team effectiveness, delivery practices, and operational processes
  • Review operations and implement innovation processes
  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and knowledge sharing across teams
  • Clarify team objectives and interdependencies and empower teams to own delivery outcomes
  • Coach team members and help teams adopt delivery and operational best practices

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting project delivery and operational activities in a technology environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile principles, DevOps, and Scrum and Kanban Frameworks
  • Basic understanding of cloud-based data platforms and how data solutions are delivered and operated
  • Scrum Master and/or PM certification (e.g. PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, DASSM) considered an asset
  • Knowledge of AzureDevOps and Planview applications considered an asset
  • Project management, technical business analysis or business systems analysis experience considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of ITIL practices and ServiceNow (ITSM) considered an asset
  • Reporting analytics experience with PowerBI, MS Fabric, Azure Databricks, Purview, Azure Cloud Engineering and Profisee considered an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French considered an asset
  • Able to work legally in Canada at the time of application; Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred
  • Must meet requisite government security screening requirements
