About the role
- Senior Scrum Master advancing Agile delivery for Alithya’s technology consulting clients. Coaching teams, supporting Product Owners, and removing impediments across strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum events and relationships between different stakeholders
- Support teams and stakeholders in improving ways of working and maturity
- Improve team organization, performance, maturity, execution, and reduce wasted time
- Create a work environment promoting skill development, teamwork, creativity, and recognition
- Expose the team to best development practices
- Support the Product Owner in practice development and product backlog establishment, prioritization, and updates
- Participate in continuous improvement of Agile practices
- Support the evolution of agility within the organization
- Facilitate sprint execution by monitoring progress, following up on action items and impediments, and ensuring accurate updates in Atlassian Suite and other delivery management tools
- Identify, track, remove, and escalate impediments when needed
Requirements
- Scrum certifications or other relevant certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the technology field, including 3 years as a Scrum Master
- Proven experience managing multiple teams
- Experience participating in large-scale deliveries involving integrated planning of multiple products or teams
- Mastery of Scrum concepts
- Knowledge of Atlassian Suite tools, including Confluence, Jira, and Advanced Roadmaps
- Advanced English
- Proficient French
- University degree in computer science or a related field is an extra edge, not required
