About the role
- Scrum Master guiding Desjardins Scrum teams through Agile project delivery in Montréal. Facilitating ceremonies, removing blockers, managing backlogs, and coaching stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Help the Scrum team implement and use the Agile approach for major projects
- Assemble and assist the project’s Scrum team and facilitate meetings
- Ensure individuals responsible for the product/process and project team understand and carry out their respective roles
- Ensure the Scrum team is functional, productive and well organized
- Ensure efficient use of Agile approach and tools and compliance with Agile values
- Establish and monitor performance indicators
- Ensure transparency on work progress and follow up on team problems
- Ensure consistency of sprint backlog tasks with product backlog commitments
- Help the product owner maximize return on investment, meet objectives and manage the product backlog
- Handle quality control for the product backlog and Scrum meetings
- Advise and coach clients and partners in Agile delivery contexts
- Develop recommendations, solutions and action plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Help the team solve complex business problems and coordinate with diverse stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Scrum Master Certification (PSM or equivalent)
- Knowledge of French is required
