- BI intern role at FoodHero supporting transition to PowerBI, combatting food waste with data-driven insights. Join us in reducing food loss through actionable dashboards and reports.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to building reports in Power BI from Excel according to specifications defined by the BI team.
- Assist in improving and maintaining Power BI dashboards under the supervision of the BI team.
- Actively participate in BI team meetings to design data models for analytics (facts, dimensions, metrics).
- Help validate data shared with stakeholders to ensure it is clear, reliable, and actionable.
Requirements
- Pursuing studies in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data modeling, visualization, and data validation.
- Highly motivated to learn Power BI and BI best practices.
- Ability to structure, document, and communicate findings clearly.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and star schema modeling (an asset).
- Knowledge of a programming language (an asset).
- Comfort with machine learning methods in Python (an asset).
