BI intern role at FoodHero supporting transition to PowerBI, combatting food waste with data-driven insights. Join us in reducing food loss through actionable dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

Contribute to building reports in Power BI from Excel according to specifications defined by the BI team.
Assist in improving and maintaining Power BI dashboards under the supervision of the BI team.
Actively participate in BI team meetings to design data models for analytics (facts, dimensions, metrics).
Help validate data shared with stakeholders to ensure it is clear, reliable, and actionable.

Pursuing studies in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
Strong interest in data modeling, visualization, and data validation.
Highly motivated to learn Power BI and BI best practices.
Ability to structure, document, and communicate findings clearly.
Bilingual in French and English.
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
Familiarity with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and star schema modeling (an asset).
Knowledge of a programming language (an asset).
Comfort with machine learning methods in Python (an asset).
