Responsibilities
Responsible for forest development activities including reconnaissance road/cutblock engineering
Conduct ecological and riparian assessments
Complete associated plans, deliverables, and appraisal packages in a safe, timely, cost-effective and professional manner
Requirements
Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in forestry
Registered or eligible to register with the FPBC as an RPF or RFT
A minimum of 3 years of multiphase timber development project management in British Columbia
A strong understanding of the forest legislation, regulation and policy impacting forest planning and management in British Columbia
Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
Enthusiastic and passionate about forestry and working outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to work both independently under limited direct supervision as well as in a dynamic team environment
