About the role
- Logistics Associate at Fresenius Kabi Canada responsible for efficient logistics operations from inbound to outbound shipments. Collaborating with the team to maintain inventory accuracy and GxP standards.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the efficient receiving, handling, labelling, and posting of all inbound shipments
- Assists in the efficient put-away of all inbound shipments to their corresponding locations
- Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy through efficient cycle count activities
- Picks and replenishes all compounding requirements efficiently
- Picks and packs finished goods efficiently
- Ensures accuracy through manual checking of outbound shipments
- Operates manual material handling equipment safely for all physical material movement within the facility
- Assigns transportation couriers for all outbound shipments efficiently and cost-effectively
- Maintains GxP standards as prescribed by the Company
- Prepares reports/documentation of data to support KPIs
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous warehouse/receiving experience required
- Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is an asset
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization
- Basic knowledge of computer applications
