About the role

  • Project Planning Digital Transformation Leader at GE Vernova. Responsible for designing and improving digital scheduling systems across integrated project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own and support the digital architecture required to enable the OPS scheduling model across projects.
  • Provide advanced Primavera P6 expertise across EPS/OBS structure, project codes, activity codes, calendars, baselines, layouts, global changes, user access, and schedule configuration.
  • Lead or support development of automation tools that reduce manual planning effort and improve schedule quality.
  • Support ITO planning teams with proposal schedule analytics, standard cycle validation, lead time analysis, and bid readiness reviews.
  • Develop and maintain data quality checks for schedule readiness, baseline completeness, project codes, activity coding, MLI mapping, baseline type, and reporting eligibility.
  • Support creation and maintenance of QMS / governance documents for OPS tools, template management, baseline creation, rebaseline, reporting, and integrations.
  • Act as a key interface between business users and technical development teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 Years of experience in project controls, planning, scheduling, project management systems, or enterprise tool implementation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, including project structures, baselines, codes, scheduling options, logic, calendars, and reporting data.
  • Experience supporting complex projects, preferably in power generation, energy, infrastructure, engineering, manufacturing, or EPC environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business process needs into tool requirements, functional specifications, test scripts, and automation logic.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Planning, Engineering, Equipment, Project Management, IT, and data/reporting teams.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to diagnose complex system, data, and process issues and drive them to closure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
