About the role

Responsibilities
- Generate knowledge and create technologies by owning research projects: plan, propose, execute, and analyze results
- Independently and proactively carry out each stage of your research with minimal supervision
- Clearly communicate your research and results through appropriate documentation to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Be a strong team player by actively participating in peer reviews, sharing ideas, and helping colleagues achieve their goals
- Work closely with development teams to push research technology into production
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD
- More than 5 years of industry experience on multidisciplinary research projects in scientific or engineering disciplines
- Theoretical and empirical research experience in machine learning and AI
- Ability to conduct research and analyze results
- Experience working with business/product team requirements
- Experience implementing and evaluating machine learning models that meet predefined metrics and product requirements
- Experience applying deep neural networks to images
- Ability to improve existing code and refine models
- Experience creating and using datasets, preferably large-scale
- Experience manipulating and analyzing data from multiple sources
- Ability to write clean, reusable, production-ready code
- Experience working with modern deep learning architectures such as Transformers
- Familiarity with Python and deep learning frameworks such as Caffe, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy and scikit-learn
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
