About the role
- C# developer in a hybrid team responsible for cloud-based security systems. Collaborating to deliver dynamic and scalable solutions in the Software Services domain at Genetec.
Responsibilities
- Provide a compatibility layer to Security Center via hyperfederation to facilitate the transition to the new SaaS offering
- Deliver seamless multi-domain integration by hiding complexity from the end user
- Ensure high availability of all cloud-deployed services by adhering to high-quality standards and industry best practices
- Make security an integral part of customer value — from design through production
- Develop, test, deliver, deploy, and support components, libraries, and infrastructure provided to teams following defined working processes
- Participate in the analysis and design of new features
- Contribute to task effort estimations and manage time against defined milestones
- Collaborate with your team lead to obtain high-level guidance and objectives aligned with the product vision and priorities
- Work with various stakeholders, such as tech leads, architects, and developers from other teams
- Participate in the on-call rotation as required and according to the established schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a cloud software development role
- Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment, take on new challenges, learn new tasks, and adopt the latest technologies and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Security Center plugins and/or SDK is a plus
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
