About the role
- Software Developer contributing to Genetec's cloud-based vehicle investigation platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the Cloudrunner platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new features on the Cloudrunner platform, including web applications, APIs, back-end services, cloud infrastructure, and storage solutions
- Build secure, scalable, and reliable applications and services using Microsoft Azure and modern software development practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with devices, data pipelines, and user-facing applications
- Participate in technical design and architecture discussions to define solutions that meet product, security, scalability, performance, compliance, monitoring, and operations requirements
- Contribute to the development and improvement of distributed systems supporting the ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval of large volumes of data
- Diagnose software issues, investigate production and integration incidents, and implement corrective actions to ensure prompt resolution and system recovery
- Write clear, maintainable, and well-tested code, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Help improve development practices, automation, observability, deployment pipelines, and DevOps processes
- Support the team's continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, proposing technical enhancements, and contributing to overall product quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with web technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, and CSS
- Strong knowledge and experience with C# and the .NET framework
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written (this role requires interaction with our international colleagues and clients)
