About the role
- Software Developer responsible for developing custom solutions at Genetec. Collaborating with teams in Montreal and Paris to enhance client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Play an active role in developing custom solutions, which accounts for approximately 70% of the responsibilities for this position
- Evaluate and improve the frameworks used across our solutions to avoid starting from scratch on each project
- Add value to internal teams, partners, and clients through demo presentations and ongoing support
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery
- Participate in collaborative sessions to improve internal tools, frameworks, and processes
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in software development
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate and foster internal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of analytical concepts
- Professional working proficiency in English and French
