About the role
- Software Developer developing and supporting cloud storage systems in a hybrid work setting. Focus on enhancing data storage solutions for application teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide support for various cloud storage systems used to manage large volumes of structured and unstructured data from domains such as access control, video recognition, and license plate reading
- Operate the underlying infrastructure ensuring overall governance, high availability, capacity management, and applying appropriate incident response protocols
- Accelerate and simplify development for application teams by providing solutions and technologies tailored to their data storage needs
- Design dynamic, flexible, and scalable services for our clients
- Participate in deploying new instances of our software in the cloud, and contribute to developing tools for monitoring system health (DevOps)
- Develop software components, their sample implementations, and associated automated tests
- Participate in designing and estimating tasks for various features
- Provide feedback on upcoming features or user stories
- Collaborate with our partners and software testers to fix product bugs
- Work in a dynamic environment using Agile and Kanban methodologies
- Participate in the on-call process as needed and according to the established schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, or computer science
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development role
- Passion for cutting-edge technologies
- Ability to learn quickly and understand complex problems
- Strong team spirit and a collaborative nature
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (this role requires interaction with our international colleagues and clients)
