Responsibilities
Conduct Phase I to Phase III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs);
Coordinate and execute field activities including sampling of groundwater, soil, soil vapour, sediment, and surface water;
Implement and enforce health and safety plans on project sites;
Manage project tasks, oversee fieldwork execution, and report progress to the project team;
Support Project Managers on various environmental and industrial initiatives;
Assist with report writing and proposal development for submission to provincial and federal regulatory authorities;
Participate in formal and informal training, coaching, and development planning activities;
Contribute to environmental risk management processes aligned with regulations and sustainability goals;
Requirements
B.Eng. in Civil or Environmental Disciplines, or B.Sc. (preferably in Environmental related field).
2-5 years of relevant experience.
A comprehensive understanding and experience working on Provincial properties and/or knowledge of the Atlantic Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA) process would be a great asset.
A comprehensive understanding and experience working on Federal properties and/or knowledge of the FCSAP process would be a great asset.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.
