Responsibilities
As a data product leader with strong business acumen, you will translate business strategy into data platform capabilities that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will combine strong product thinking and commercial insight with strategic development leadership to set the direction for our India team while ensuring data products deliver measurable business outcomes.
This position is approximately 70% product and business management and 30% development leadership.
You will spend the majority of your time understanding business needs, defining the product vision, prioritizing roadmaps by business impact, and collaborating with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success executives.
You will also provide strategic technical guidance and develop your engineering leaders, maintaining accountability for delivery excellence and platform reliability.
You will lead the transformation of our data platform to enable product-led growth, e-commerce optimization, and enterprise-scale analytics.
Your data products will enable a 360-degree view of the customer, support experimentation, personalization, and intelligent engagement with our more than 800,000 customers, while powering analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives that drive the business.
You will directly oversee senior managers in India who lead our development, data science, and analytics teams of roughly thirty people.
While they are responsible for day-to-day technical execution, you will be accountable for overall product strategy, platform outcomes, stakeholder alignment, and their professional development as leaders.
You will also lead a small, distributed product management team in partnership with these development teams.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in software-as-a-service (SaaS) and 5+ years in product management, with deep expertise in subscription models and building user-focused platforms, and proven experience driving revenue growth and adoption through impactful large-scale data products.
3+ years of experience managing and developing engineering leaders, with strong technical expertise to review architectures and guide technical decisions.
8+ years in leadership positions, including experience managing managers and building teams of 30–40+ people, with a proven track record of developing talent into leadership roles or acting as key mentors.
Proven experience delivering impactful data products (e.g., customer 360, analytics, predictive models), operationalizing self-service analytics, and enabling non-technical users.
Proficiency in modern data architecture (data mesh/data fabric), product analytics tools, and applying machine learning and AI solutions such as recommendation engines and intelligent automation.
