Responsibilities
Analyze drawings, scopes of work and specifications
Perform quantity takeoffs
Assess costs (materials, labor, site conditions)
Consider technical constraints related to system types and installation methods
Prepare complete and competitive bids/submissions
Identify risks, constraints and opportunities
Understand project objectives and challenges
Provide critical input on design optimization
Ensure the accuracy of estimates
Meet deadlines
Participate in internal reviews
Requirements
Significant experience in estimating (construction / mechanical / fire protection)
Strong knowledge of fire protection and sprinkler systems, with an understanding of their design
Excellent analytical skills and sound judgment
Rigor, autonomy and strong organizational skills
Comfortable using digital tools
