About the role

Application Engineer analyzing customer specifications and selecting appropriate G&W products. Collaborating with engineering team to develop custom solutions for technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Determine and document the technical and commercial requirements of the customers application
Select the appropriate G&W product to meet these requirements
Develop accurate cost models for both standard and custom equipment
Determine price levels and lead times
Partner with customers and our Engineering team to develop custom solutions that satisfy their needs
Build and maintain strong relationships with our internal resources and Sales Team
Provide timely and effective verbal and written communication to our internal resources and Sales Team
Communicate these requirements to G&Ws internal teams for engineering and manufacturing

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from four-year accredited college or Engineering Technologist Diploma (3-year program) with relevant experience in the industry
A concentration in Power Engineering is highly desired
1 to 3 Years of experience as an applications engineer, inside sales, or related areas preferably in industrial/manufacturing settings
Strong computer proficiency
Experience with JDE and Salesforce software is an asset
Strong interpersonal skills
