About the role
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Microsoft Dynamics GP and financial applications. Troubleshoot issues, support SQL Server, and collaborate with vendors.
Responsibilities
- The Application Support Analyst II will provide hands-on support for Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and related financial applications. Responsibilities include Tier 2/3 support, troubleshooting application/configuration/security/integration issues, supporting core financial modules (GL, AP, AR), assisting with month-end/year-end processes, SQL Server activities, maintaining reports and interfaces, collaborating with vendors, and developing support documentation. Secondary duties include supporting additional enterprise applications, upgrades, patches, testing, enhancements, integrations, and user training.
Requirements
- Required: Proven experience supporting MS Dynamics GP in production; strong understanding of financial systems; 5+ years enterprise application support; strong MS SQL Server skills (queries, views, stored procedures); experience with SSRS and Dynamics GP reporting tools; excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred: Experience in municipal/government/public-sector; experience with enterprise upgrades/integrations; knowledge of IIS.
