About the role

Senior Electrical Engineer leading electrical design for laboratories, research facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and mission-critical environments. Delivering compliant, constructible systems from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

Serve as a recognized technical subject matter expert within the organization
Lead the technical design of complex projects involving multiple drawings, technical complexity, high project value, and multiple trades
Assess design constructability and develop design specifications for complex designs
Participate in project planning and project management meetings
Provide improvement recommendations to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met
Peer review the work of junior engineers
Review and sign off on complex engineering reports and standards
Complete project work on time and within budget
Lead teams in the technical design of complex projects
Remain accountable for designs through construction completion
Ensure technical accuracy of project files and documentation
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in engineering consulting
P.Eng with PEO
Experience with mission critical or highly specialized facilities is an asset
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for design and documentation
Commitment to continuous learning and applying industry best practices
Strong attention to detail
Excellent documentation and quality control skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and across diverse project environments
