Responsibilities
Lead a complex technology modernization initiative involving the replacement and implementation of Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and telephony systems
Manage the project through planning, development, implementation, data migration, and operational start-up
Ensure project objectives are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and performance requirements
Define project objectives, resource requirements, team roles, responsibilities, and governance
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, milestones, and dependencies
Coordinate activities across internal and external stakeholders and project teams
Monitor and report project progress throughout the project lifecycle
Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
Conduct critical path and schedule analysis and address potential delivery impacts
Prepare project reports, plans, charts, and other project management documentation
Ensure all project deliverables and milestones are completed as planned
Lead stakeholder meetings and support the resolution of project issues
Coordinate project implementation, operational readiness, and final project sign-off
Requirements
Valid PMP certification in good standing
Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience coordinating complex projects involving large-scale data migrations
Minimum 2 years of experience working with the Canadian Government
Minimum 3 years of experience managing large and diverse stakeholder groups
Minimum 2 years of experience implementing Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) software/systems
Experience working with 911/emergency dispatch centres and systems (nice to have)
Experience with medevac dispatching environments (nice to have)
Experience implementing or replacing telephony systems (nice to have)
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada through Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a Valid Work Permit
