Responsibilities
Lead a complex technology implementation and modernization initiative within the Early Learning and Childcare sector
Manage projects through development, implementation, deployment, and operational start-up
Ensure delivery within established scope, schedule, budget, and performance requirements
Define and document project objectives, requirements, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities
Coordinate project resources and manage large, diverse stakeholder groups
Develop and maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures, milestones, and dependencies
Manage complex data migration activities and associated dependencies
Identify risks, issues, scheduling conflicts, and critical dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies
Manage and track project change requests
Conduct critical path analysis
Prepare project plans, status reports, charts, dashboards, and other project documentation
Provide ongoing project status reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and other project managers
Coordinate schedules and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders
Ensure project milestones and deliverables are completed as planned
Support issue resolution and decision-making throughout implementation
Manage project completion, operational transition, and project sign-off
Requirements
Valid PMP certification in good standing
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager coordinating complex projects involving large-scale data migrations
Minimum 2 years of experience working with Canadian government organizations
Minimum 3 years of experience managing large and diverse stakeholder groups
Minimum 2 years of experience implementing and/or managing permitting, compliance, and licensing software solutions
2+ years of experience within Early Learning and Childcare (nice to have)
Understanding of Canadian childcare legislation and regulatory environments (nice to have)
Previous experience implementing AMANDA software (nice to have)
Strong experience with online document management solutions (nice to have)
Experience implementing Case Management Systems (nice to have)
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada through Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a Valid Work Permit
