About the role
- Join Homebase as a Frontend Software Engineer. Build scalable applications enhancing the developer experience for small business teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, performant frontend software for Homebase customers
- Empower other frontend teams by building tooling and improving developer workflows
- Evaluate and recommend emerging frameworks and frontend technologies
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and product to deliver delightful user experiences
- Mentor junior engineers and lead by example with clean, maintainable code
- Support our transition into an AI-first engineering culture by adopting tools that improve velocity
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development, preferably with React.js
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and pull request workflows
- Experience working in agile environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Ability to evaluate and compare frameworks and technologies objectively.
