About the role
- Innovation Advisor for iA Financial Group, focused on emerging technologies and business model transformation. Engaging with stakeholders for innovation initiatives in financial services and insurance.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring emerging trends in insurance, financial services, artificial intelligence, customer experience, and new business models
- Identifying, defining, and structuring high-potential innovation initiatives
- Designing and supporting proof of concepts (POCs), proof of values (POVs), and pilot projects
- Acting as a strategic advisor to leaders and teams, co-facilitating ideation, design thinking, and problem-discovery workshops
- Developing and maintaining a network of external partners, including startups, universities, incubators, accelerators, investment funds, and technology providers
- Promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning by sharing successes, lessons learned, and best practices
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of experience in innovation, strategy, digital transformation, product development, technology, or innovation project and portfolio management
- Experience in the financial services or insurance industry is considered a strong asset
- Graduate-level education or additional training in innovation, entrepreneurship, strategy, or digital transformation
- Advanced proficiency in both English and French, as the role requires daily interactions, presentations, collaboration, and influencing activities with various business units and stakeholders across the organization
