About the role
- Systems Architect involved in the functional and technical design of IT solutions for iA Financial Group. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support digital transformation and enhance system performance.
Responsibilities
- Actively participating in the analysis of business and technical requirements in collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders.
- Designing and producing functional and/or technical solution designs (flows, business rules, integrations, application components).
- Ensuring solution alignment with target architecture, IT standards, and organizational best practices.
- Working closely with architects, development teams, and quality assurance (QA) teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Supporting teams during solution implementation and contributing to effort estimates and planning activities.
- Supporting testing phases, analyzing defects, and contributing to their resolution.
- Maintaining clear, accurate, and up‑to‑date design documentation.
- Acting as a subject‑matter expert during production releases and supporting production support activities.
- Mentoring team members and fostering knowledge sharing within the IT community.
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT solution design
- solid understanding of complex application environments and integration challenges
- hands-on experience in IT solution design, ideally in an Agile/Scrum context
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field
- knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry, including pricing and new business (strong asset)
- comfortable working with various technologies and platforms, including: Azure DevOps, .NET 8, Git, SQL Server, MongoDB, BizTalk, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Mainframe environments
- intermediate level of proficiency in English
