About the role
- Senior Frontend Developer contributing to Ignition's revenue generation platform with modern engineering practices. Building and enhancing frontend components while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Building new, improving and maintaining existing frontend components leveraging modern AI tools
- Conversion of wireframes and mock-ups into fully functioning app features
- Developing features to enhance the user experience
- Automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Delivery of cross-browser compatibility for the platform
- Creation and maintenance of software documentation
- Optimising the web app for maximum speed and scalability
- Committing to support a safe, mindful, and productive team environment, maintaining open, honest, and respectful communication
- Learn from others and mentor those around you to help them grow
- Play an important role in shaping the technical direction of frontend development
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ Years of experience/ or 6+ years of equivalent experience
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React.js and modern JavaScript tooling
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design
- Experience with GraphQL, Reach Hook Form, Zod and Chakra is a bonus
- Familiarity with agentic development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor etc.
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
