Clinical Trial Delivery Trainer developing role-based training for Indero, a global dermatology and rheumatology CRO. Supporting onboarding, regulatory readiness, coaching, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
Identify training and development needs across Clinical Trial Delivery
Develop and maintain role-based training curricula, onboarding pathways, and learning plans
Create, update, and standardize training materials, learning resources, assessments, and documentation
Maintain training content aligned with regulations, company procedures, systems, and operational practices
Develop and maintain a scalable Clinical Trial Delivery training repository
Recommend and implement training initiatives based on business needs, process changes, quality trends, and employee feedback
Deliver group and individual training programs for new and existing employees
Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and practical learning activities
Provide training on clinical trial processes, regulations, SOPs, systems, tools, and role-specific responsibilities
Coordinate refresher training
Support onboarding programs and define onboarding requirements and learning objectives
Monitor onboarding completion and support readiness assessments
Provide guidance to new employees during onboarding and role transition
Promote consistency in onboarding practices across functions and regions
Serve as trainer, mentor, and resource for Clinical Trial Delivery employees
Provide coaching and facilitate knowledge sharing and best-practice dissemination
Participate in competency observation and evaluation activities
Accompany CRAs on-site or remotely for observation and evaluation visits when appropriate
Coordinate and prioritize Coordinator Trainers’ daily activities
Contribute to training budget planning and provide cost estimates and business justifications
Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, competency evaluations, and quality metrics
Improve training processes, content, tools, and delivery methods
Support new processes, technologies, and organizational initiatives through training and change management
Participate in developing and reviewing SOPs, work instructions, templates, and controlled documents
Provide updates and recommendations to Clinical Trial Delivery leadership
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, clinical research, healthcare, education, or another relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and/or contract research organization (CRO) industry
Previous experience in one or more Clinical Trial Delivery roles (e.g., Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Trial Manager, Project Manager, or other clinical operations or project delivery positions)
Experience delivering training, facilitating learning, coaching, mentoring, or supporting employee development
Experience developing training materials, onboarding programs, or role-based learning plans is an asset
Good knowledge of ICH-GCP, Health Canada, FDA, EMA, and other applicable regulatory requirements governing clinical research
Strong understanding of the clinical trial lifecycle, Clinical Trial Delivery processes, and cross-functional responsibilities
Ability to translate complex regulatory, operational, and technical information into practical and engaging learning experiences
Excellent presentation, facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and communication skills
Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time management skills
Comfortable working in evolving environments and adapting to new technologies, systems, and industry practices
Proficient in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in French or another language is an asset
Comfortable using AI-powered tools and productivity platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar technologies)
Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time
