About the role

Responsibilities
- Determine the cause and origin of damage sustained in an accident by inspecting the vehicle using software
- Evaluate and approve repair estimates prepared by claims adjusters
- May be required to establish the market value of vehicles
- Use automated digital estimating systems to standardize repair estimates
- Negotiate and communicate best repair practices and procedures
- Ensure productivity and service quality
Requirements
- GAA Estimator Certificate or eligibility to obtain it
- Experience in collision estimating or repair, including knowledge of estimating software (Audatex and Mitchell)
- Comprehensive knowledge of principles and techniques for repairing and replacing physical automobile damage
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the collision repair industry
- Strong analytical skills to define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to prepare automotive repair estimates using Audatex software
- Open communication with shop owners, managers, and estimators throughout the assessment process
