About the role

  • Senior Director modernizing JD Power’s Salesforce-led enterprise applications. Leading quote-to-cash transformation and teams supporting auto-data and analytics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the transformation and modernization of JD Power’s enterprise business applications, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, and connected SaaS platforms
  • Own the multi-year enterprise applications strategy and roadmap
  • Lead JD Power’s quote-to-cash transformation from opportunity through revenue recognition
  • Own and improve quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and hire-to-retire processes
  • Lead delivery of implementations, enhancements, and integrations
  • Serve as product owner for core enterprise platforms and make prioritization and trade-off decisions
  • Drive integrations, data quality, automation, workflow improvements, and AI-enabled tools
  • Establish architectural standards, governance, security posture, and DevOps maturity
  • Define metrics and dashboards for platform health, delivery performance, and business outcomes
  • Build, grow, and lead a team of managers and individual contributors
  • Develop application talent, role clarity, career paths, and technical and delivery leadership
  • Partner with executive stakeholders across Finance, Sales, RevOps, HR, and Operations
  • Manage platform budgets, vendors, systems integrator partnerships, license strategy, RFP/RFI processes, contract negotiations, and total cost of ownership
  • Own relationships with Salesforce and other strategic vendors, including NetSuite and Coupa

Requirements

  • 12+ years in enterprise technology, enterprise applications, or business systems
  • 5+ years leading application platform teams at Director level or above
  • Demonstrated experience scaling Salesforce organizations in high-growth environments, with CPQ and Billing in production
  • Track record leading quote-to-cash transformations end to end, from opportunity through revenue recognition
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise SaaS platforms beyond Salesforce, such as NetSuite, Coupa, and HR/HCM systems
  • Proven experience leading implementations, integrations, and system improvements
  • Strong expertise in integrations, APIs, event-driven patterns, and data flows across Azure and AWS cloud environments
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools that improve internal business processes, with sound judgment regarding governance and human review (preferred)
  • Experience building and managing teams of architects, developers, administrators, and analysts, including managers
  • Experience owning multi-million-dollar platform budgets, vendor negotiations, and systems integrator partnerships
  • Experience with cost/benefit analysis and RFP/RFI processes
  • Experience defining application strategy in multi-entity or post-acquisition environments
  • Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills with C-suite and SVP-level Finance and GTM stakeholders
  • Experience in data-intensive or analytics-driven businesses, particularly automotive, financial services, or information services sectors (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (preferred)
