About the role
- Senior AI product leader scaling Jerry.ai’s agentic platform for car and home ownership. Owning LLM experiences, automation, evaluation, and roadmap execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of the AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap through rollout
- Partner with engineers on prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails while balancing latency, cost, and accuracy
- Translate technical concepts between engineering and the broader organization
- Establish AI best practices and platform standards
- Drive improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through experimentation
- Work with OpenAI partners to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation
- Own the roadmap and unified platform direction for prompts, voicebot, computer use, and consumer AI applications
- Report directly to the COO
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a technical role such as forward deployed engineering, technical product management, or similar at a fast-paced startup
- Passion and curiosity for AI systems, including modern LLMs
- Track record of turning complex strategic ideas into scalable, production-grade products
- Strong understanding of API design and system architecture
- Familiarity with SQL and ability to use data to answer questions and validate hypotheses
- Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and implement AI platform standards
- Experience with prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails
- Ability to work full-time as a salaried employee while residing in an eligible U.S. state or Ontario, Canada
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada
