About the role
- Senior Specialist in mechanical systems engineering focusing on military CF-18 and CT114 Programs. Involves design, testing, certification and assuring airworthiness of mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Mechanical Systems group for military CF-18 and CT114 Programs
- Play a key role in mechanical systems and structures modification, design, test, certification
- Lead activities to assure continuing airworthiness of CF-18 fleet mechanical systems
- Address maintenance snags, providing technical support and engineering disposition
- Develop/Review mechanical system modifications and installation work instructions
- Validate subsystem/equipment performance via tests
- Support coordination of cross-functional requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautics or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Aviation Mechanical Systems Engineering or equivalent
- Superior knowledge of aircraft systems like Fuel, Hydraulic, Ventilation, Equipment Cooling, etc.
- Strong technical writing skills in English
- Experience with software such as MS Office, Relex/Windchill
- CAD experience (preferably with CATIA) is a plus
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 15288:2008
- Knowledge of MBSE SysML
- Strong communication skills
