About the role

  • Senior Systems Engineer coordinating and executing systems engineering activities within integrated teams for aerospace and defense. Managing requirements, documentation, and technical investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage system requirements for developmental systems involving multiple subcontractors
  • Generate and manage systems engineering documentation, including specifications and test plans
  • Conduct trade studies and recommend new technologies
  • Perform job analysis to estimate engineering effort
  • Support financial Earned Value accountability in collaboration with Engineering Cost Account Managers
  • Ensure compliance with technical processes and policies
  • Review program metrics applying Technical Performance Measures
  • Identify and manage technical/engineering Risks and Opportunities across programs
  • Support engineering management of suppliers
  • Provide accurate and timely status reports to management
  • Support business development efforts for new system integration projects
  • Collaborate on technical investigations and program review meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Design Engineering, or a related field
  • Must be eligible for professional registration (Professional Engineer)
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, or development environments
  • Strong project engineering management skills including forecasting, budgeting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in complex systems designs
  • Experience with business capture as both a product provider and system integrator
  • Proficiency in System Engineering and ILS, Digital Technologies Implementation, and Life Cycle Management
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft suite and various other programs
  • Familiarity with Training Management Systems, network architectures, C2/SA applications, Modeling and Simulation applications, DOORS, and MBSE
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
  • Able to travel Internationally
