Responsibilities
Manage system requirements for developmental systems involving multiple subcontractors
Generate and manage systems engineering documentation, including specifications and test plans
Conduct trade studies and recommend new technologies
Perform job analysis to estimate engineering effort
Support financial Earned Value accountability in collaboration with Engineering Cost Account Managers
Ensure compliance with technical processes and policies
Review program metrics applying Technical Performance Measures
Identify and manage technical/engineering Risks and Opportunities across programs
Support engineering management of suppliers
Provide accurate and timely status reports to management
Support business development efforts for new system integration projects
Collaborate on technical investigations and program review meetings
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Design Engineering, or a related field
Must be eligible for professional registration (Professional Engineer)
8+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, or development environments
Strong project engineering management skills including forecasting, budgeting
Strong organizational and communication skills in complex systems designs
Experience with business capture as both a product provider and system integrator
Proficiency in System Engineering and ILS, Digital Technologies Implementation, and Life Cycle Management
Strong computer skills in Microsoft suite and various other programs
Familiarity with Training Management Systems, network architectures, C2/SA applications, Modeling and Simulation applications, DOORS, and MBSE
Bilingual in English and French is an asset
