About the role

Project Engineer managing Instrumentation & Controls projects for Lauren Services in Vancouver. Overseeing project execution while collaborating with civil engineers and stakeholders in hybrid settings.

Responsibilities

Oversee the successful delivery of projects, including station installations, analyzer integrations, telemetry systems, automation upgrades, and MOV (Motor Operated Valve) installations.
Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure that project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
Manage projects focused on cathodic protection (CP) systems, generator installations for rectifiers, MCC upgrades, Arc Flash Studies, relay replacements, UPS upgrades, switchgear, and control panel installations.
Assist with drawing stamping (a nice-to-have skill) and provide support in peer reviews to ensure all technical standards are met.
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.

6-10 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), with hands-on involvement in project management and engineering.
Proven experience working within Oil & Gas, Consulting, or other related industries.
Strong understanding of Instrumentation, Electrical, and Control Systems design and implementation.
Experience with Analyzer installations, telemetry systems, and automation of existing sites.
Knowledge of MOV installations, MCC upgrades, Arc Flash Studies, and switchgear.
Familiarity with cathodic protection and generator installations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
P.Eng certification.
