About the role

  • Administrateur des comptes recevables chez Leaseweb Canada, fournisseur de services d’hébergement et d’infrastructure Internet. Suivi des encaissements, rapprochements et rapports financiers en mode hybride à Montréal.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor outstanding balances and communicate with customers to secure payment of overdue accounts.
  • Keep the list of overdue customer accounts up to date and coordinate files assigned to collection agencies.
  • Prepare and send certain customer invoices, then respond to billing-related inquiries.
  • Prepare monthly reports on accounts receivable aging and bad debts.
  • Maintain the accounts receivable subledger and perform the necessary reconciliations.
  • Participate in preparing financial statements and reports related to accounts receivable.
  • Analyze and reconcile billing cycles to identify discrepancies, anomalies, or fraud risks.
  • Prepare certain journal entries and contribute to the reconciliation of intercompany transactions and the consolidation of financial accounts.
  • Work closely with the sales team, account managers, customers, and external collection agencies.

Requirements

  • Education in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Meticulous, disciplined, and highly attentive to quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, diplomatic, and customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
