About the role

Senior iOS Developer building SwiftUI features for Lightspeed’s hospitality commerce platform. Improving POS workflows, integrations, reliability, and expansion into global markets.

Responsibilities

Enhance the iOS app by developing innovative features and user-centric workflows
Design and implement efficient iOS applications using SwiftUI
Prioritize development of new features and maintenance of existing integrations
Expand the product’s presence in new markets through novel iOS capabilities
Report to the squad’s Team Lead
Engage with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies and grooming sessions
Deliver solutions that enhance user engagement
Maintain high standards of code quality and system reliability
Take ownership of the codebase and contribute to infrastructure robustness
Share iOS development insights and best practices
Continuously improve and innovate the app

Advanced programming skills in SwiftUI
Good knowledge of Structured Concurrency, Blockchain, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, and REST APIs
Good knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
Experience writing automated unit and functional tests
Good conceptual understanding of software design and code quality
Experience with local network communication and external hardware accessories is a plus
Experience using AI tools and implementing agentic workflows
Must be based in Canada
Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the role is advertised
