- Senior iOS Developer building SwiftUI features for Lightspeed’s hospitality POS. Improving integrations, reliability, and user workflows for global restaurant businesses.
Responsibilities
- Enhance the iOS app by developing innovative features and user-centric workflows
- Design and implement elegant, efficient, and functional iOS applications using SwiftUI
- Prioritize development of new features and maintenance of existing integrations
- Expand presence in new markets through novel iOS capabilities
- Report to the squad’s Team Lead
- Engage with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams
- Participate in daily Agile ceremonies and grooming sessions
- Execute solutions that enhance user engagement
- Champion code quality and system reliability
- Take ownership of the codebase and contribute to infrastructure robustness
- Share iOS development insights and adopt best practices
- Continuously innovate and improve the app
Requirements
- Advanced programming skills in SwiftUI
- Good knowledge of Structured Concurrency, Blockchain, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, and REST APIs
- Good knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience writing automated unit and functional tests
- Good conceptual understanding of software design and code quality
- Experience with local network communication is a plus
- Experience with external hardware accessories, such as payment terminals and printers, is a plus
- Experience using AI tools and implementing agentic workflows
