About the role
- Senior iOS Developer building Mistplay’s mobile-gaming loyalty app. Leading Swift and SwiftUI feature development, performance improvements, and junior-developer mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Enhance the native iOS app, improve user engagement, and provide exceptional user experiences
- Lead development of complex features for the iOS platform
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and other multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize, design, and implement iOS solutions
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Ensure seamless integration of components within the iOS ecosystem
- Apply UI design principles using SwiftUI and modern iOS development tools
- Write secure, clean, and efficient code following best practices
- Ensure the application evolves to meet changing business needs
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Mentor and coach junior iOS developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as an iOS Developer or similar role
- Profound knowledge of Swift and iOS SDKs
- Experience with modern iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, and SwiftUI
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to innovate and drive development projects
- Experience in testing frameworks and writing unit tests (nice to have)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated deployment processes (nice to have)
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments (nice to have)
- Exposure to backend integration and API handling (nice to have)
