About the role

Responsibilities
- Support Lightspeed’s Restaurant product group in expanding into new markets and countries and improving the restaurant commerce platform
- Enhance the iOS application by developing innovative features and customer-focused workflows
- Design and implement mobile applications for iOS devices using SwiftUI
- Prioritize the development of new features and the maintenance of existing integrations
- Expand the company’s presence in new markets through new iOS capabilities
- Report to the squad leadership and collaborate with Product Management, Design, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure seamless integration and performance within the POS application
- Participate in daily Agile ceremonies and refinement sessions
- Promote code quality and system reliability
- Take ownership of the codebase and contribute to the resilience of the infrastructure
- Share knowledge, adopt iOS best practices, and continuously improve the application
Requirements
- Advanced SwiftUI programming skills
- Strong knowledge of Structured Concurrency, Blockchain, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, and REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience writing automated unit and functional tests
- Solid conceptual understanding of software design and code quality
- Experience with local network communication and external hardware accessories is an asset
- Experience using AI tools and implementing agentic workflows
- Professional fluency in English is required
- Position based in Canada
