About the role

Full-stack developer building MaintainX’s CMMS workflows for industrial and frontline teams. Owning TypeScript, React, and Node.js features across scheduling, reporting, inventory, and work execution.

Responsibilities

Build and improve customer workflows including scheduling, parts management, and reporting
Solve complex product problems involving dense data-heavy interfaces, large datasets, offline behavior, and multi-site scale
Shape architecture and engineering practices on newly formed teams
Make complex workflows simple on desktop and mobile
Ship features end to end from planning through production
Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape the team roadmap
Own the long-term reliability and performance of a feature area or system
Review code and mentor developers
Improve tooling, testing, and delivery practices
Participate in an on-call rotation
Own a feature area or system outright within the first 6 months

5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products
Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development
Track record of writing maintainable, testable code
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to make progress when specifications are not fully settled
Day-to-day use of AI tools in development workflow
Nice to have: GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience
Experience with scheduling or calendar UIs, data-heavy front ends, offline-first or sync architectures, multi-tenant or enterprise platforms, workflow engines, or inventory and transactional systems is valued
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Compensation may include commission, an annual bonus and equity, depending on the role
